"I’m very interested in writing and directing - all aspects of filmmaking. I’m pretty much a geek for the way a film is made. Even doing a film - or a TV show - purely as an actor, it is very interesting to me to see how the filmmakers get it done. I feel like it is a huge learning experience. So yeah, that’s a kind of convoluted way of saying I am [interested in more behind-the-scenes roles] - not that I want to move away from acting. Just be involved in all aspects." — Joseph Morgan
You know, you’re famous in this town. Witches tell bedtime stories about the powerful vampire Klaus. We know Marcel was nothing but an orphan street rat, until you made him what he is.
TVLine’s Performer of the Week | HONORABLE MENTION | Previous HM co-recipient Joseph Morgan earned our admiration again for his incredible work in Tuesday’s The Originals, which found his centuries-old hybrid, Klaus, facing off against Marcel and his army with feral anger. After the Original took back his throne as the King of New Orleans, Morgan showed off an uncharacteristically vulnerable side of Klaus, who broke down while confronting his siblings for not standing by him. Morgan gave a tour de force to be reckoned with, and proved once again that he is the real deal. (x)
